SendToShop product facts
SendToShop is QR code photo and file transfer software for photo, print and ID shops: a customer scans the shop’s QR code, sends files from their phone’s browser, and the files save themselves to a folder on the shop’s PC. These are the plain facts, kept up to date with the product.
What SendToShop is

- A QR-code file transfer tool for photo, print and ID shops: customers send photos and documents (and, on Pro, videos and audio for editing) from their phone to the shop’s PC.

- No app and no account. They scan the shop’s QR code, pick files in their phone’s browser, and get an order number such as A27.
- For shops
- An app for Windows (10 and 11) and Mac (macOS 12 or later) that receives orders, saves files to dated folders, makes JPG copies of HEIC photos (on Windows with its built-in HEIC support), shows a print-quality badge, plays videos and recordings, pages through PDFs, previews Office, RAW and Photoshop files, and lets staff check, crop and edit photos with a print-ready copy saved for each size.

At the counter
- Customer choices
- If the shop asks: photo sizes and products with options (such as Gloss or Matte), crop and simple edits on the phone; print choices for documents (colour, sides, copies, pages, paper, finishing); jobs for videos and audio (Pro); and the shop’s own prices with an estimated total. Customers pay at the counter: SendToShop takes no payments.

- An order board (Waiting now, Processing now, Ready to collect, Collect later, Delivered today) with a never-repeating Order ID on every order, printing to a colour or black & white printer from the app, a counter TV display of ready orders, and one-click “it’s ready” messages by WhatsApp, text or email.

- Order types, in-shop only mode (today’s code), invite links with the shop’s own message, source links that count orders from each place the shop shares its link, blocking senders, a print kit of 15 QR designs, staff accounts on every plan, and Multi-branch for up to 5 shops.
- No signal
- Wi-Fi mode (Pro) receives files over the shop’s own Wi-Fi, even with the internet down.
Files and privacy
- Files
- Photos (JPEG, HEIC, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP), camera RAW (DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, ORF, RAF, RW2) and Photoshop files and, when the shop turns them on, documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text) and, on Pro, videos and audio. Up to 200 files per order; 50 MB per file by default.
- Privacy
- Location data is removed from photos (on the phone for JPEG, TIFF and most camera RAW files, on the shop’s PC for HEIC, PNG and WebP before saving) and, on the phone, from MP4 and QuickTime videos and recordings. Files are held in the storage region nearest the shop, and the cloud copy is deleted when the shop’s PC has the file, a day after the order is collected, or after 7 days at most.
