SendToShop is a QR-code file transfer tool for photo and print shops. Customers send full-quality files from any phone, even with no signal; you see each photo’s print quality, print from the Shop app, and tell customers when their order is ready, by message or on a counter TV. It works with any printer, and with your staff and every branch.
Receiving files
From the customer’s phone to a folder on your PC, in full quality.
Full-quality transfer
Originals straight from the phone. No compression, ever. iPhone HEIC photos get a JPG copy on your PC (on Windows, with its built-in HEIC support), and the originals are kept.
Works with any printer
Files land in a dated folder. Point your lab or print software at it as a hot folder, or let the Shop app copy each order into your print program’s own hot folder.
Wi-Fi mode
No signal in the shop? Phones send straight to your PC over your own Wi-Fi. It works with the internet down.
Photo sizes and products
List your own sizes and products, such as 6×4 prints, canvases or passport photos, with up to four options each, like Gloss or Matte. Customers pick a size and copies for each photo, crop it to fit, and can rotate, flip, add a filter or brighten it on their phone.
Print choices for documents
Ask how each document should print: colour or black & white, one or two sides, copies, which pages, paper size and finishing such as staples, spiral binding or lamination. The answers show on the order and in a print-instructions file in its folder.
Video and audio jobs
On Pro, customers can send videos and recordings with what they want done, from your own list of jobs, such as “Trim” or “Convert to MP4”, and the time it applies to, like 0:42 to 1:10.
Order types
Ask what each order is for: photo prints, photocopies, passport photos or your own list. The type shows on every order in its own colour, and in the order’s folder name.
In-shop only
Take orders only from people at your counter. Customers enter today’s 4-digit code, shown in the Shop app and on the counter TV. A regular can still send from home with an invite link, and one click blocks whoever sent a junk order.
Invite links and source links
Send a customer at home a link with their name and number already filled in and a message from you, by WhatsApp, text or email; it works for 1 to 30 days. Give Instagram, Google or a poster its own link, and see how many orders each brings.
Privacy
Location data is removed from photos: on the phone for JPEG, TIFF and most camera RAW files, and on your PC for other photos (HEIC, PNG, WebP) before they are saved. Canon CR3, Fujifilm RAF and Photoshop files are kept exactly as sent. Videos and voice recordings (MP4, MOV, M4A) have where they were made removed on the phone. Files wait in the storage region nearest your shop, and are deleted as soon as your PC has them.

Know what you have, print it, and let the customer know.
An order board for the day
New orders arrive in Waiting now. Start one and it moves to Processing now, then Ready to collect; Collect later and Delivered today fold away at the side. Customers keep their short number, like A27, and every order also has an Order ID, like #1042, that never repeats, so you can find it again months later.
File info and quality badge
Green, amber or red for every photo, based on its real pixels, so you know before you print whether it will look good at the size asked for.
Open every file
Play videos and recordings, page through PDFs, and preview Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RAW and Photoshop files, without leaving the Shop app. See each file’s details too: pages, size, length, camera.
Check and edit before printing
See each photo as it will print at its size, then fix the crop, straighten it or adjust colour and sharpness. The Shop app saves a print-ready copy for each size, next to the original.
Print from the Shop app
Pick the files and press Print. Choose Colour or Black & white and the number of copies, and they go to the printer you set up for each, or to any other printer on the PC.
Counter TV display
Show the orders that are ready, and the queue, on any TV or spare screen: open a private link in its browser. Big numbers, a chime when an order is ready, five colour themes, and never a name or phone number.
Tell them it’s ready
One click on the order opens WhatsApp, a text message or an email to the customer, with the message already written: “Hi Oliver, your order A27 is ready to collect at Highgate Photo.”
Collect later
Customers send from the counter or from home, then pick up. Their order number keeps everything together.

Your prices, an estimated total
Put your prices on sizes, options, pages, finishing and video jobs, in your own currency. Customers see the estimated total before they send, and pay at the counter as they always have. Turn prices off at any time.
Staff accounts
Invite up to 9 staff, each with their own sign-in. They see orders, the QR page and invite links; billing and settings stay with you. Turn on two-step sign-in for your own account.
Multi-branch
Run up to 5 shops on one bill. See every shop’s day at a glance, find an order in any of them, and copy your settings to every branch in one step.
