Cookie policy

In short

SendToShop uses no advertising cookies. The website asks before setting analytics cookies, and sets none until you accept. Apart from those, the only cookies are the ones that keep shop owners and staff signed in, and a few things are remembered in your browser to save typing.

This website

Our visit counts come from Plausible, which is cookieless: it counts visits without identifying you or following you to other sites, so it needs no consent.

With your consent, given in the banner when you first visit, sendtoshop.com also sets these analytics cookies:

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): _ga and _ga_… cookies, kept for up to 2 years, give your browser a random id so visits can be counted and pages compared. Google processes this data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses; IP addresses are not stored.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day) cookies, and cookies on clarity.ms (CLID, ANONCHK, MR, SM, MUID), record how pages are used: clicks, scrolling and the layout, with typed text masked. Microsoft processes this data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage for a year (sts-consent), not in a cookie. “Cookie choices” at the foot of every page brings the banner back so you can change it; declining removes nothing already set, so also clear this site’s cookies in your browser.

The dashboard (app.sendtoshop.com)

Session cookie (better-auth.session_token, with a __Secure- prefix over HTTPS): keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary, lasts up to 7 days from your last visit, and is removed when you sign out.

Trusted computer: with two-step sign-in, if you choose to trust a computer, a cookie lets it skip the code for 30 days.

In your browser’s local storage, not cookies, the dashboard remembers which of your shops you last opened, how you last told a customer their order was ready, and whether you have printed your QR. These never leave your computer.

The customer page

The page your customers send from sets no cookies. To save them typing, it remembers in their phone’s local storage the name, phone number and email they last entered and their recent order number at each shop. It stays on their phone until they clear their browser data.

Payments and other sites

When you pay, Razorpay or PayPal may set their own cookies on their checkout pages; their cookie policies apply. The counter TV display link sets no cookies.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in to the dashboard.
