Only take orders from customers in the shop
Your printed QR can be photographed and shared. With In-shop only on, customers also need today’s 4-digit code, which changes every day.
About 3 minutes.
- 1
Turn it on
On app.sendtoshop.com, open Settings → Receiving and turn on “Only take orders from inside the shop”. The Shop app has the same switch.
- 2
Show today’s code
Today’s code is in the Shop app, on the QR page and on the counter TV. Customers who scan the QR on a screen don’t type it: that QR carries the code.
- 3
Invite a customer at home
For a customer who wants to send from home, open Share links (in the dashboard or the Shop app) and fill in Invite a customer: their name, phone or email (all optional), and how long it works (1, 2, 7 or 30 days). Add a message if you like, such as “Please send your passport photos”: it goes in the email and WhatsApp text, and sits at the top of the page they open. Copy the link, send it by WhatsApp, or tick Email the link to them. It works in every mode, their details are filled in for them, and their order shows an Invite chip.
- 4
See where orders come from
On Share links in the dashboard, under Source links, add a link for each place you share it (Instagram, Google profile, a poster). Orders through it show a Link chip, the list counts this month’s orders per link, and Orders can be filtered by where they came from. Orders through invites and source links ask for the customer’s name and phone; change that in Settings → Customer details.
- 5
Block a sender
If someone sends a junk order, open it and choose Block sender. Their next orders are refused. See and lift blocks in Settings → Customer details, under Blocked senders.
